Can a science student study Mass Communication in Unilag?

Yes! If you are a Science you can study Mass Communication at the University of Lagos provided you have the required subjects combination in your O level result as seen below.

Subject combination for Mass Communication in Unilag:

The University of Lagos offers three to a four-year degree leading to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mass Communication. To qualify for this undergraduate course through O level requirement, candidates are required to possess General Certificate of Education or Senior Secondary School Certificate credits in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Literature-in-English and any two of Economics, History/Government, Geography, any Nigerian Language, CRS/IRS and Civic Education.

For JAMB UTME subject combination, any three Arts or Social Science subjects and Mathematics is also accepted.
For Direct Entry, in addition to the required WAEC subjects combination for this course, you are expected to have Two ‘A’ level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects.

University of Lagos (UNILAG) also accepts Very good passes in three (3) JUPEB subjects: Lit-in English, and any two of Economics, Government, History and CRS/IRS.
