Don’t be sad, you can still gain admission with your low JAMB score

I never thought of publishing this article because it never for once crossed my mind until when I got to know that many students do silly things like committing suicide when they score below JAMB cut-off marks and I keep getting questions like “I scored less than 180 in JAMB, which course can I study?” What are the lists of Universities that accept below 180 in JAMB? Is there any university that accepts 100, 120, 140, 150, 160 JAMB Score?

Don’t stress yourself. Have you tried Fatherprada’s Admission Checker? Use it to know if you will be given admission or not.

Latest JAMB updates on cut-off mark
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set 160 and above as a cut off mark for 2022/23 admissions into universities across the country.

If you have a low score in JAMB, don’t get mad at yourself. You may not have prepared well. There is hope anyway… Yeah, real hope for those who scored at least above 120. JAMB understood the problems of admission that’s why they created a platform called Efacility and JAMB CAPS

Recently, I read in the news, to be specific on Twitter of how a young fellow decided to drink sniper because he scored 167 in JAMB. And that got me wondering… What the hell is wrong with him!!! I don’t care what may… but choosing to commit suicide is way out of it. If you don’t get admission because you score below JAMB cut-off mark that doesn’t mean your life should end.

JAMB is not the only way to get admission… You hear!!! ND, CAMBRIDGE IGCSE, IJMB, JUPEB, NABTEB, PREDEGREE, CONTINUOUS EDUCATION, PART-TIME, etc are other ways of gaining admission into Nigeria universities. JAMB is just a part of the whole process though they sit in the middle.

For those who score below the university of their choice cut-off mark in this past JAMB exam, you can rest assured that you may be given admission by other universities that are looking for students to admit. Mostly unpopular universities, polytechnics and colleges of education who are yet to admit the number of students they are looking for. JAMB CAPS makes all this possible.

Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is a platform created to ensure quality control, transparency and credibility of the admission process in Nigeria. JAMB CAPS was created to ensure the admission process is done within a controlled portal. Candidates can register, check admission status, accept or reject provisional admission and can also make themselves available at the JAMB CAPS marketplace.

Institutions can also go and request for students in Nigeria who score their cut off points. This mean institution can only admit those who meet their cut off points. If a candidate fails to meet the cut off mark, that student would certainly be denied admission irrespective of the candidate’s connection.

So don’t give up. Going to school doesn’t even guarantee you anything in this present generation. The only thing you will gain is a certificate. Universities don’t teach you how to make money online, how to write a resume and cover letter, how to start up a business, how to leverage investment, Forex trading etc…. None of that… Only the old less updated knowledge about what is, define this, mention this, characteristics of this and that… More of theories and little or no practical and invention.

I’m not saying you should quit school or forget going to school. No, what I’m trying to tell you here is that you should never give up on life…. Where there is life, there is hope. Going to school is just a part of living, it doesn’t define how to live.

Now back to base… I’m going to run down a list of schools that accept cut off marks below 180. That is, universities or other higher institutions that accept JAMB cut off marks within the range of 120, 130, 140, 150, 160,179…
Please take note… The cutoff mark from these universities may change at will. So it is expedient that you confirm the cut-off mark is still the same or changed and please avoid those that claim they can upgrade JAMB score for you.
