WAEC subject combination (requirements) for Agric Extension Services

The subjects needed to study Agric Extension Services in WAEC must contain five (5) credit. This subject combination is also applicable to NECO AND GCE… The required WAEC subject combination (O level requirement) for Agric Extension Services must include:

Knowing JAMB subjects for Agric Extension Services is not enough. You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just a piece of advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. (i) Imo State University, Owerri (IMSU) and Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) accept OND/HND for Direct Entry to 200/300 levels respectively.
(ii) University of Ibadan (UI) and Imo State University, Owerri (IMSU) -as in Agriculture.
(iii) Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) – as in Agric Economics
(iv) Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) accepts: (a) Two A’ level credit passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Mathematics or Physics. (b) ND/HND (Upper credit) in Agriculture from a recognised institution in any one of Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Fisheries, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Agricultural Technology plus UTME requirements. (c) NCE in Agricultural Science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics (credit) plus UTME requirements.
(v) Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU) accepts (a) Two `A’ level passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/ Botany/ Agricultural Science/ Biology, Mathematics, Physics, or Economics. (b) HND/OND in Agriculture obtained at upper credit level from recognized Institution.
(vi) Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) accepts ND with Upper Credit/HND/NCE at Credit Level in relevant subjects (Plus UTME requirements) may be considered for admission into 200 Level.

What is WAEC, NECO, GCE, Special Consideration (Waiver) for Agric Extension and Services
(i) Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) – as in Agric Economics
(ii) University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and University of Agriculture, Makurdi – as in Agric Economics
(iii) Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) requires: (a) Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. (b) At least a pass in Physics. (c) Candidates with pass grade in Biology must possess credit pass in Agricultural Science. It does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.
(iv) University of Ibadan (UI) – as in Agriculture.
(v) Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU) does not accept economics and Geography.
(vi) Kwara State University, Ilorin (KWASU) same as Agric. Extension Services.
(vii) Landmark University, Omu-Aran and Michael Okpara University of Agricultural Umudike same as in Agricultural Economics
