WAEC subject combination (requirements) for Education and Science

The subjects needed to study Science Education in WAEC must contain five (5) credit. This subject combination is also applicable to NECO AND GCE… The required WAEC subject combination (O level requirement) for Science Education must include

  1. English Language
  2. Mathematics If you don’t have credit in Mathematics, Click here fast
  3. Two other Science subjects.
  4. A Trade Subject

 

JAMB UTME subject combination (requirements) for Education and Science 

Knowing JAMB subjects for Education and Science is not enough. You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just a piece of advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. Of course, if you have a score below 180, you can consider College of Education or Polytechnic… Please note – JAMB is not the only option for admission. If you’re having troubles JAMB UTME maybe it’s time you pass through IJBM, JUBEB, ND, HND or Predegree!..

  1. Three relevant Science or NBC subjects

Direct Entry requirement (required A-level result) to study Science Education
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes in relevant Science subjects which should include candidates proposed course.
(ii) NCE credit/merit passes in addition to TC II merit or SSCE credit in relevant subjects

If for some reason you are not satisfied or cannot meet up with this admission requirement that is the subject combination above, perhaps you should consider other Education and Science similar courses or take a look at Polytechnic or College of Education related course subject requirements.

Education and Science is how many years course and under which faculty?

Depending on your mode of entry, Education and Science is a three to four years course in Nigeria. According to JAMB, this course is under Faculty of Education but may be under a different faculty in some universities.

  1. pls I wrote maths,physics, chemistry and English in jamb but biology, English,physics and chemistry in post utme unizik..science education..and jamb is showing me science and maths on my profile..what do u think
