What is Direct Entry Special Consideration (waiver) to study Human Kinetics?
(i) Tai Solarin University of Education Ijebu Ode (TASUED) – Same as in Health Education.

(ii) University of Lagos (UNILAG)accepts; a) Very good passes in three JUPEB subjects: Biology/ Health Sciences/Physical Education one (1) other Science Subject and any other subject. b) NCEinPhysicalandHealthEducation. c) UniversityofLagos 2-yearDiplomainHuman Kinetics and Health Education d) Candidates must also satisfy the O/Level requirement.

(iii) Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni – Same as Health and Safety Education.

(iv) Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki accepts RN/RM (registered nurses/registered midwife) certificate, NCE in Health and Physical Education plus UTME requirements. It also HND, NCE and ND with a minimum of Merit and Upper credit respectively in the relevant fields.

(v) Kwara State University, Ilorin (KWASU) accepts: (a) Merit pass in IJMB/GCE A’ Level in relevant science subjects (b) At Least Merit pass in two major subjects in relevant areas at the NCE including Physical and Health Education in addition to O’Level requirements as specified for the UTME above. (c) Certificate of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria or its equivalent in addition to the O’Level requirements in the specified subjects for UTME. d. Any other relevant qualification approved by the College of Education and the Senate of Kwara State University, Ilorin (KWASU).

(vi) Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba accepts: (a) NCE with at least merit in related subjects. (b) Registered Nurse. (c) Two A’ level passes in physical Education, Health Education, Biology

(vii) University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) accepts: (a) All candidates either major minor in the Department of Human Kinetics Education may be interviewed. (b) Candidate with Third Class may be considered for direct entry. (c) In addition, candidate with Nursing, Public Health and Health related areas are admitted through direct entry National/Higher Diploma Social Work, Accounting, Data Processing, Banking and Finance, Mass Communication, Sports Journalism, Law; HND Science-based.

What is WAEC, NECO, GCE Special Consideration (waiver) to study Human Kinetics?
(i) University of Lagos (UNILAG) requires five credit in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science/Physical Education, one other science subject and other Subject.

(ii) Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki requires five SSCE credit in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects.

(iii) Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni – Same as Health and Safety Education (i) Kwara State University, Ilorin (KWASU) accepts credit in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any other one Science Subject.

(vi) Kogi State University Anyigba requires five SSCE credit in English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects.

(vii) Tai Solarin University of Education Ijebu Ode (TASUED) – Same as in Health Education.

(viii) Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba requires five SSCE credit in English
