  • Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU) – Biology is not mandatory
  • University of Ibadan (UI), University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT), Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) require English Language and any three subjects.
  • University of Calabar (UNICAL) – No admission through UTME.
  • EDALV accepts Health Science in lieu of Biology for Physical and Health Education, but Biology is mandatory for Physical Education.
  • Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) require Mathematics, English, Biology, Health & Physical Educ. or Health Science/Physical and Health Education.
  • University of Benin (UNIBEN) requires Five ‘O’ level credit/TC II merit passes to include English Language and one Science subject.
  • Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) require English Language, Biology and at least a pass in Mathematics.
  • University of Ibadan (UI) – same as in Human Kinetics.
  • University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) and EDKAN require a credit in Mathematics.
  • Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo requires credits in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science subject except Health Science/Agricultural Science.
  • University of Uyo requires credit in English Language and Chemistry.
  • Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma requires at least a pass in Mathematics
  • Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba requires Five ‘O’ level credits/TC II merit passes in five subjects including English Language, Biology, Mathematics and any one Science subject..
  • Ekiti State University requires five credit to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Physical and Health Education and one Science subjects at one sittings.
  •  Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) requires at least a pass in Mathematics and two other subjects
  • Tai Solarin University of Education Ijebu Ode (TASUED) requires Five ‘O’ level credits at one sittings or six ‘O’ level credits at two sittings to include English Language and at least one Science subject and Mathematics.
  • Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria requires Five ‘O’ level credits/TC II merit passes in five subjects including English Language, Biology, Mathematics and any one Science subject.
  • University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) requires: For Physical Education (a) 5 O’ level credit to include Credit in English Language & Biology/Health Science/or Physical Education/ Agric. Science in WASC/GCE/NECO/ SSCE obtained in not more than 2 sittings. (b) TC II merit pass in five subjects including English Language, Biology/Physical Education/Agricultural Science.
    For Physical and Health Education: (a) Five SSCE/GCE/NECO credits/ TC II merit passes in five subjects including English Language, Biology/Health Science/Physical Education or their equivalent in not more than two sittings.
  • Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU) (For Physical and Health Education) requires five ‘O’ level credit or TC II merit passes including English Language, any one of Biology/Health Science/Integrated Science, plus any other three subjects.
  • University of Lagos (UNILAG) requires credit in Biology and Mathematics.
  • (xxiii) University of Jos (UNIJOS) requires five SSCE credits/TC II merit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Biology or Health Sciences.
  • Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria requires five ‘O’ level credits in English Language, Mathematics and others in Physical Education, Physical and Health Education, Physical and Health Education or anyone science subject from Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
