The Bachelor of Human Nutrition and Dietetics (the terms are used interchangeably) prepares you to work as professional nutritionists and dietitians. Nutritionists and dietitians break down scientific knowledge about food in relation to health and disease, then translate it into practical information to help people change eating habits and improve their health. It covers the core biomedical sciences of physiology with biochemistry and the professional practice of communication and ethics.

Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree course is designed to produce graduates who can effectively deliver quality preventative nutritional practice within a wide range of settings including health education, health promotion and public health. You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just an advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. Of course, if you have a score below 180, you can consider College of Education or Polytechnic… Please note – JAMB is not the only option for admission.
