What is O level/WAEC subject combination (requirement) for Optometry?

You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just an advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. What is Direct Entry requirement (that is the required A-level result you need) to study Optometry?
(i) At least two ‘A’ level passes (G.C.E or H.S.C) in Chemistry and any one of Biology, Zoology or Physics.

(ii) Distinction level pass in the University of Benin Diploma in any of the following: Science Laboratory Technology (DSLT) and Analytical Industrial Chemistry (DAIC).

(iii) Distinction level pass in Diploma from other recognised Universities in areas listed in (ii) above.

(iv) Distinction level pass in Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognised Polytechnic or College of Technology in Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) or Polymer Chemistry.

(v) Distinction level pass in Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised Polytechnic or College of Technology in Polymer Chemistry and Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)

(v) Distinction level pass in Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognised College of Education in Chemistry. In addition candidates should have at least an overall Credit level pass.
