What is Direct Entry Special Consideration (waiver) for Geography and Regional?
(i) Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye accepts NCE (merit) and ND in Town Planning Estate Management or related fields (Lower Credit).

(ii) University of Uyo accepts ND/ NCE / HND in relevant plus UTME requirements

(iii) University of Calabar (UNICAL) accepts NCE at credit level which should include Geography and ND in related field of discipline for Direct Entry.

(iv) University of Benin (UNIBEN) also accepts ND (Upper Credit)/HND (Lower Credit) in Town Planning, Estate Management or Environmental Management and Geographic Information System; NCE (overall merit) with credit pass in Geography. Direct Entry candidate must also satisfy UTME requirements.

(v) Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) and Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba require one other ‘A’ level Social Science subject and accept NCE (credit) in Geography; ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit) in Town Planning or in related fields.

(vi) Lagos State University, Ojo (LASU) accepts A’ level pass in any one of Economics, Government, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

(vii) Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) accepts NCE (credit) in Geography or ND (Upper Credit) in Town Planning, Land Surveying, Environmental Resource Management, Estate Management or other related fields.

(viii) Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba require one other ‘A’ level Social Science subject and accept NCE (credit) in Geography; ND (Upper Credit), HND (Lower Credit) in Town Planning or in related fields

What is WAEC, NECO, GCE, Special Consideration (waiver) for Geography and Regional?
(i) University of Calabar (UNICAL) accepts any two of Economics, Government, Agricultural Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

(ii) University of Benin (UNIBEN) accepts TC II (overall merit)

(iii) Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye requires credits in English, Mathematics, Geography and any two Social Science subjects

(iv) Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba requires credits in English, Mathematics, Geography and any two Social Science or Science subjects

(v) Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) accepts Geog, and any other Social Science Subject.

(vi) Ekiti State University requires one of the other two subjects to be a Science or Social Science subject.

What is JAMB UTME Special Consideration Consideration (waiver) for Geography and Regional?
(i) Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye – Geography and any two social Science subjects

(ii) Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) – Geography, Mathematics and one other Social Science subject
