Although the two disciplines and industries overlap, the main difference is that tourism deals with attractions, activities, and events, while Hospitality focuses on providing people great accommodation, travel, as well as other facilities like restaurants or sports centres.

Contrary to what you might think, Hospitality and Tourism careers are not like a never-ending vacation. This fast-changing, dynamic and highly competitive field expects well-trained hospitality professionals with a serious work ethic.

Benefits Of Studying Hospitality and Tourism

  • This degree program will provide students with thorough knowledge about how to balance environmental, economic, and socio-cultural benefits and concerns in tourism.
  • In particular, students will address how to meet tourist markets’ demands for nature and heritage experiences, without compromising future generations’ access to these.
