What is an Educated Guess?

If you have ever heard the word, “Educated Guess”, you may wonder what the meaning of that short phrase is and what it is all about.

Educate guess happened when statements of fact or assertion not previously known, written, recorded or documented in any form, is used at the moment of urgency and provides a temporary or permanent solution. Such assertion are usually of previous experience or testament from related or unrelated phenomenal.

Is a hypothesis an educated guess?

Where there is a provision for further investigation, test and research, a hypothesis cannot be said to be an educated guess except in a moment in time where no further research and investigation is required. According to Wikipedia, some scientists reject the term “educated guess” as incorrect. Experimenters may test and reject several hypotheses before solving the problem.
