Admission requirements to study Japanese Language in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least a C- (minus) in English or Kiswahili or one (1) subsidiary at KACE (‘A’ Level).

 

DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES:

Admission requirements to study Japanese Language and Culture in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE or its equivalent with at least grade C- (minus) in English or Kiswahili OR KACE with at least a subsidiary pass OR
  • Mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE with a certificate in Japanese language awarded by Kenyatta University or Level 4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test awarded by Japan Foundation or other recognized Institution.

Admission requirements

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE or Div. III at KCE or equivalent OR Mean grade of C- (minus) or equivalent with a certificate in the relevant area.

 
 

DEGREE PROGRAMMES:

Admission requirements to study Arts in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) or equivalent in three subjects chosen from English, Kiswahili, History and Government, Geography, Mathematics, Christian Religious Education, Business Studies, Islamic Religious Education, French, German, Hindu Religious Education. OR
  • Mean grade of C with a Diploma (Passed with a Credit B and above in English) from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from Certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized institution.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Psychology in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C (Plain) in English and Mathematics OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) with a Diploma (Passed with credit) in any field of study from a recognized institution of higher learning. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Counselling Psychology in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C (Plain) in English and Mathematics OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) with a Diploma (Passed with Credit) in any field of study from a recognized institution of higher learning with two (2) years working experience in a relevant field e.g. Counselling, Psychology, Public health Nursing, Computer Science, Religion, Theology, Social Work, HIV/AIDS, Laboratory Technology. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Policy and Administration in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least grade C- in Mathematics and C (plain) in English. OR
  • Mean grade C (Plain) at KCSE with C- (Minus) in Mathematics and C (plain) in English with a Diploma (passed with credit) in a relevant field from a recognized institution. OR
  • Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (A’ Level) with two (2) principal passes and a credit pass in Mathematics at Kenya Certificate of Education (‘O’ Level). OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Gender and Development Studies in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent or Division II at Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) with three years relevant work experience OR
  • Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (K.A.C.E.) with two (2) Principals and one (1) subsidiary OR
  • A degree from recognized institution. OR Mean grade C (Plain) at KCSE with a Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions

 
 

Admission requirements to study Japanese Language and Culture in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent and must have a Minimum of C+ in a Foreign Language or a B (Plain) in English/Kiswahili at KCSE level or its equivalent. OR
  • Mean grade of C with a Diploma (Passed with a Credit B and above in English) from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions. Candidates with a Certificate or Diploma in Japanese are also eligible to apply

 

Admission requirements to study Biblical Theology in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+(Plus) or equivalent in Christian Religious Education or Social Education and Ethics at KCSE or its equivalent OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) with a Diploma (passed with credit) in any field of study from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Religion and Social Development in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+(Plus) or equivalent in Christian Religious Education, Islamic Religious Education or Social Education and Ethics at KCSE or its equivalent OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) with a Diploma (passed with credit) in any field of study from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.
