Christlike attributes are gifts from God. The most important means of growth in being a victorious Christian is studying the Bible and applying the truth you learn in personal living. As we become more Christlike, we become more able to radiate gospel light to others. As we emulate the Savior, our actions and words encourage others to take upon them the name of Jesus Christ.

To help you develop Christlike attributes that please God and make you a winsome Christian, here is a list of fifty-two personality traits for you to study. Each is briefly defined and supported with a Scripture text you will want to memorize.

Relate each trait to your life. Cultivate it by planning how to express it. Try to create a project that will involve the trait; for example, to exercise thankfulness, and give thanks to God aloud when possible — for each blessing as it comes to you.
