NECO GCE Compulsory Subjects for Art, Science and Commercial Students

Listen and listen good. Most of you want to write NECO GCE examination because you did not do well in the past WAEC and there is nothing wrong with combining two results like WAEC and NECO GCE together. But make sure that you in both results, you pass at least 6 subjects.

That is what most universities accepting two sittings require. For example, if you pass 4 subjects in WAEC, you must pass at least 2 more subjects in NECO GCE excluding the one you already pass in WAEC.

For those writing NECO GCE Examination, please, you should know that the Science/Art/Commercial subjects accepted by; for example the University of Lagos may not be accepted in Lagos State University. All Schools have laid down policy on what subject is required for a course and the acceptable grades.

If you’re writing NECO GCE Exams or any O level examination, remember to blend with other subjects. For example, since you only need 5 subject credits to qualify for admission and you have confirmed the required compulsory subject combinations for your desired course, then add more courses. Add courses from both science, art and commercial subjects to complete 9 subjects.
