What is UNILAGdiploma? That is what many aspirants would like to know especially during admission sessions. Well, Unlike other universities that offer Diploma programmes that result in ND and HND Certificate, the University of Lagos does not offer such a program rather, UNILAG offer Diploma courses as foundational programmes under the umbrella of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB)
University of Lagos Diploma (Foundation Programmes) was initiated in 1998, with the objective of providing additional training opportunities to qualified candidates. This program provided avenues for successful candidates to gain direct admission into the 200 level of the degree programmes of the University of Lagos, through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and into any of the approved tertiary institutions in Nigeria and other partnering Universities.

With Unilag Diploma, you don’t have to worry about POST UTME but bear this in mind, the UNILAG diploma (Foundation Programme) is a one-year full-time programme and does not currently have facilities for the visually impaired and is strictly a non-residential programme.
