The Complete list of Trade Subjects needed to complete ‘O’ Level Exam registration such as WAEC, NECO and GCE.

It is a must to choose a trade subject along with other 8 secondary school subjects during WAEC, NECO and GCE registration. And let me quickly tell you this… Yoruba is a compulsory subject you must register in any WAEC, NECO or GCE examination if you are considering any higher institution in Lagos. Please be guided.

You should choose subjects as required by a university course or polytechnic and college of education. It is important you verify the subject requirements of any course before attempting to register them in WAEC, NECO or GCE. Else, you will be screened out if you ever made it to departmental screening.

Sir i us advise i am an art student but unfortunately i registered my WAEC this year 2019 without including literature and commerce and i want to study public administration in the university or polytechnic. Here are the subjects which i registered in my WAEC; Eng,Maths Civic Ed, Animals Hus. Econs. Govt, C.r.s. Geo., computer Sir its possible to me to gain admission with these subjects combined?

    • You don’t need CRS, GEOGRAPHY for public administration…. That combinations can’t go for public administration… You need MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH, ECONOMICS, ACCOUNT, GOVERNMENT (plus Yoruba if you’re studying in unilag or lasu)

    Civic B3
    Computer science C6
    Chemistry D7
    Physics D7
    Then I took GCE and made a C6 in chemistry
    What course can I study pls
