Macquarie University hereby invites international students to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship. The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is awarded to recognize academic excellence for international students.
This includes a wide variety of long and short-term opportunities for international students. The range of scholarships available can depend on the country you are from, with other eligibility factors including your field of study and academic or sporting achievements.

Requirements
To be considered for the Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, applicants are expected to;
- Meet the Academic and English requirements for a Macquarie University Bachelor’s or Postgraduate Coursework Degree.
- Achieve a minimum WAM equivalent of 65 for Postgraduate applications; or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 85 for Undergraduate applications.
- Be accepted into a Macquarie University Bachelor or Postgraduate Coursework Degree commencing in the next year
- English Language Requirement: Applicants are required to provide evidence of meeting Macquarie University’s minimum English language proficiency requirements.
Aim and Benefits
This scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate students and provides up to AUD $10,000 applied toward your tuition fee. Scholarships are limited so we encourage you to accept your offer and scholarship early to avoid disappointment.

Interested and eligible candidates should complete an online course application form. Once your course application has been processed, you will receive a Macquarie University Student Number which is compulsory to submit the online scholarship application form.
Applicants must complete an online scholarship application form and type “VCIS” in the Scholarship Name field.
