As usual, wherever, I encounter any issue related to tech, I love sharing solutions. Recently. I turned off my BlueTooth device on windows 10 when I had a connection problem with my external speaker. Unfortunately, I could not turn it back on. The Bluetooth toggle was no longer visible. In another word, the Bluetooth toggle was missing.
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless connection that many smaller devices use to communicate with a computer. It is crazy when you can no longer pair your Bluetooth devices with your PC— including keyboards, mice, headphones, phones, speakers, and a whole lot more.
I did a lot of troubleshooting, which I also believe you may have also done. If you have reinstalled the Bluetooth driver and yet not still working, trouble yourself no further. On this page, I’ll show you how to bring back the Bluetooth toggle option which will allow you to switch on and off your Bluetooth on windows 10.
Solution: Bluetooth is turned off windows 10 no toggle
After scrabbling the internet for solutions, I found out that Fast Startup on Windows 10 can bring back your Bluetooth toggle. Honestly, I do not know the relationship between Fast Startup and Bluetooth devices on windows 10. According to Uaudio, Fast Startup is a Windows 10 feature designed to reduce the time it takes for the computer to boot up from being fully shut down. However, it prevents the computer from performing a regular shutdown and can cause compatibility issues with devices that do not support sleep mode or hibernation.
Step 1 Goto: Power & sleep settings
Step 2 Locate and click on: Additional power settings
Step 3 Locate and click on: Choose what the power buttons do
Step 4 Next as seen in the image below click on Change settings that are currently unavailable
Step 5 Next: Untick Turn on fast startup
Turn off your computer then turn it on.
I hope this solves your Bluetooth problem. Leave a comment below for appreciation.
