Although, Alumni refers to a group of graduates of either one or both genders, while alumnus traditionally refers to a single male graduate, with the feminine term being alumna, the alumni of the Ahmadu Bello University are individuals who had become part of the general definition of the university through their outstanding performances and achievements in their respective fields of specializations nationally and worldwide; and, also, in their contributions to the development of the university.
