I know you are reading this page to know if Engineering requires Mathematics. but first, let me tell you should in case you do not know; Engineering in itself is not a course you can study in the university. To study Engineering in the university, you must choose your area of specialization.

Your area of specialization in Engineering can be Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc… You can read the complete list of Engineering courses here.
Now, does Engineering require Mathematics?

Yes, Engineering requires Mathematics because Engineering is the application of science and math to solve problems in real-world situations.  Every field of Engineering requires the application of Mathematics. You must be very good at Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry in high school to excel in your chosen field of engineering at the university.

While Biology may be limited to some specific field of engineering, you must have a good foundation in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

Tips:
Remember I highlighted at the university. For you to graduate and become an engineer, you must pass different math courses within the field of Engineering that you have chosen. Once you start working as an Engineer, you may never meet Mathematics again except in professional exams.
