Admission requirements to study Sports Administration And Management in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE or Division III at K.C.E or its equivalent or hold a P1/S1 Teachers Certificate or a Credit 1 and above in Kenyatta University Certificate course in Sports Administration and Management. OR
  • Mean grade of C- (Minus) at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Division III at KCE or equivalent and have a Certificate in Sports Administration and Management.

 

Admission requirements to study Food, Nutrition and Dietetics in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent. In addition, applicants must have obtained grade C (plain) in English, Biology/Biological Sciences and Chemistry/Physical Sciences and C- (Minus) in any of the following subjects; Physics, Mathematics, Home Sciences and Agriculture. OR
  • Mean grade C- (minus) at KCSE with a certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics from a Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (KNDI) recognized institution, and must be registered by KNDI or equivalent bodies for International Students.

Admission requirements to study Fashion Design and Marketing in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (Plus) in Art and Design or Home Science or any one science subject OR
  • Mean grade ofC (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma of at least credit pass in Fashion Design or Clothing from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Community Resource Management in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (Plus) in one subject chosen from the following categories: Alternative A: Biology/Agriculture, Geography/Home Science Alternative B: Business Studies/Commerce/Accounting or any other Art – based subjects OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma of at least credit pass in Community Development or Extension-related work from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma of at least credit pass in Community Development or Extension-related work at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions

 
 

Admission requirements to study Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with a minimum grade of C+ in each of the following categories of subjects: Mathematics, Biology/Biological Sciences, Chemistry/Physical Sciences and English/Kiswahili OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or Nutrition and Food Sciences with a credit pass and a minimum grade of C- (Minus) at KCSE.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Recreation and Sports Management in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or equivalent OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Sports Administration and Management, Physical Education, Sports Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Education (with Geography) or related fields from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from Certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions

 

Admission requirements to study Exercise and Sports Science in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (plus) or equivalent in at least one of the following subjects: Biology, Mathematics, Physics/Physical Science or Chemistry OR
  • Mean grade of C (Plain) at KCSE or equivalent with a Diploma in Sports Administration and Management, Physical Education, Sports Science, Hospitality, Nutrition, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Public Health and Coaching or in other related field from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- (Minus) at the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Division III at KCE or equivalent and progressed from Certificate to Diploma from Kenyatta University or an accredited/recognized institution.

 
 

Admission requirements to study Japanese Language and Culture in Kenyatta University

  • Applicants must have a mean grade of C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent and must have a Minimum of C+ in a Foreign Language or a B (Plain) in English/Kiswahili at KCSE level or its equivalent. OR
  • Mean grade of C with a Diploma (Passed with a Credit B and above in English) from a recognized institution. OR
  • Mean grade of C- at KCSE and progressed from certificate to Diploma at Kenyatta University or any other recognized/accredited Institutions. Candidates with a Certificate or Diploma in Japanese are also eligible to apply
