Biblica words of encouragement are one of the most common ways through which we express spiritual support for one another. It is the expression of affirmation through language or other symbolic representations to instil faith, courage, perseverance, confidence, inspiration, or hope in a person(s) within the context of addressing a challenging situation or realizing a potential.
One might have positive thoughts or warm feelings toward another person, but these do not qualify as encouragement if they are not communicated to the other person. Biblical words of encouragement can be expressed through spoken words, writing, helping, giving, touching and even our presence.

  1. 1 Chronicle 16:11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
