NABTEB was set up to reduce the burden of WAEC. In other words, NABTEB is an internal examination body, unlike WAEC that has an international weight behind it. Notwithstanding, NABTEB according to different sources is also accepted in some countries outside Nigeria.
If you want to use your NABTEB result outside Nigeria, I will advise you to make enquire first to ascertain if the university you have chosen outside Nigeria will accept NABTEB.
