WAEC subject combination (requirements) for Hospitality and Tourism Management

You’re expected to have at least 5 credits on the required WAEC subject combination needed to study Hospitality and Tourism Management in Nigeria universities.

The required subject combination must include:

  1. English Language
  2. Maths
  3. Economics
  4. A trade subject

JAMB UTME subject combination (requirements) for Hospitality and Tourism Management

Prepare yourself well so you can score above 200 in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just a piece of advice) because anything short of this score may deny you Admission/Post UTME. Of course, if you have a score below 180, you can consider College of Education or Polytechnic

Course Description for Hospitality and Tourism Management 
Hospitality and Tourism Management program develop effective and efficient leaders of the Hospitality and Tourism industry. To achieve this mission, it is the goal of this program that students will demonstrate leadership skills by having the following; Knowledge of the industry, People management skills, Problem-solving skills, a sense of responsibility, Hospitality entrepreneurship management, Hospitality labor relations management, and Conventions, meetings and event management.

Choosing a career in the hospitality field means becoming involved in one of the nation’s largest industries. The opportunities for employment are broad in scope, and graduates are actively recruited each year by numerous hospitality firms..We are still working on a number of things. Western Delta University, Oghara Delta State accepts NCE, ND or HND in Nutrition and Home Economics or Catering.

What is WAEC, NECO, GCE, Special Consideration (waiver) to study Hospitality and Tourism Management
i. Western Delta University, Oghara Delta State requires five credit to include Mathematics/Physics, English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Food and Nutrition/Home Economics and at not more than two sittings.

ii. Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti – Ekiti State requires credit in English Language, Mathematics and any three other subjects

What is JAMB UTME Special Consideration (waiver) to study Hospitality and Tourism Management
Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti – Ekiti State requires Economics and two relevant subjects.
