WAEC subject combination (requirements) for Education and Hausa

The subjects needed to study Education and Hausa in WAEC must contain five (5) credit. This subject combination is also applicable to NECO AND GCE… The required WAEC subject combination (O level requirement) for Education and Hausa must include

  2. Hausa
  3. A Trade Subject

 

JAMB UTME subject combination (requirements) for Education and Hausa 

Knowing JAMB subjects for Education and Hausa is not enough. You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just a piece of advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. Of course, if you have a score below 180, you can consider College of Education or Polytechnic… Please note – JAMB is not the only option for admission. If you’re having troubles JAMB UTME maybe it’s time you pass through IJBM, JUBEB, ND, HND or Predegree!..

Education and Hausa is how many years course and under which faculty?

Depending on your mode of entry, Education and Hausa is a three to four years course in Nigeria. According to JAMB, this course is under Faculty of Education but may be under a different faculty in some universities.

(i) Usumanu Danfodiyo University (UDUSOK) andBayero University, Kano (BUK) accept NCE (merit).
(ii) Umar Musa Yar’ Adua University Katsina (UMYU) accepts two credit in the subject of specialization and any other Arts subjects. NCE at credit Level in the subject of specialization is also acceptable.

What is WAEC, NECo, GCE Special Consideration to study Education and Hausa
(i) Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria accepts TC II credit/merit.
(ii) Umar Musa Yar’ Adua University Katsina (UMYU) accepts five O/Level credit including English Language, Hausa and another three Arts subjects with a pass in Mathematics.
(iii)Bayero University, Kano (BUK) requires Five O’ Level Credit passes to include English language, Hausa plus three other subject
