The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun(FUPRE), Delta State, Nigeria was established in March 2007 under a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative to build a specialized University to produce unique high-level manpower and relevant expertise for the Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria and worldwide.

FUPRE is the first of its kind in Africa and it is destined to be the premier international institution-of-choice with the state-of-the-art facilities to provide the petroleum and allied sectors, world-class education, training, research, consultancy and extension services.

Like every other Nigeria universities, Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun also have their admission requirement which every candidate must comply with to secure a successful admission.

FUPRE Basic Studies (Pre-Degree) Programme Admission Requirement
For admission into Pre-degree programme of the University, a candidate must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes including English Languages and Mathematics in not more than two (2) examination sittings.

FUPRE Undergraduate Programme Admission Requirement
To be admitted into any of the departments in the Undergraduate programme, interested applicants must apply through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) body and score 180 and above, having met the minimum 5 credit O’Level required by the department of interest in not more than two sittings.

What are the documents required for admission screening in Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE)?

You may have chosen the best course from the list of accredited courses available in FUPRE and passed JAMB with flying colours but one thing is certain, “screening”. Before you can become a student of FUPRE, you must pass through admission screening where you will be required to present certain documents for validation and records.

Without screening, you will not be given a matriculation number. And without a matriculation number, you are not a student of FUPRE. These are the primary documents FUPRE requires for admission screening. There may be more, but this one listed here are compulsory
