WAEC subject combination (requirements) for Educational Administration

The subjects needed to study Educational Administration in WAEC must contain five (5) credit. This subject combination is also applicable to NECO AND GCE… The O level requirement, that is, the required WAEC subject combination for Educational Administration must include

  2. Mathematics
  3. Economics.
  4. A Trade Subject

Five TC II merit passes including English and Mathematics.

JAMB UTME subject combination (requirements) for Educational Administration 

Knowing JAMB subjects for Educational Administration is not enough. You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just a piece of advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. Of course, if you have a score below 180, you can consider College of Education or Polytechnic… Please note – JAMB is not the only option for admission. Special Consideration”] What is Direct Entry Special Consideration (waiver) to study Educational Administration
(i) University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) – No Direct Entry.

(ii) University of Calabar (UNICAL) requires 3 years post NCE qualification experience plus credits in English Language and Mathematics at O/L.

(iii) Abia State University, Uturu – for the 3 year programme, offers it as Educational Management.

(iv)  Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) requires O/L TC II (credit/merit) in Mathematics/Arithmetic. In addition Ekiti State University accepts a pass at NCE General language in Lieu of ‘O’ level credit in English Language.

(v) Ekiti State University requires ‘O’ level credit in Mathematics and Economics, in addition Ekiti State University accepts NCE (credit/merit) in relevant discipline

(vi) University of Lagos (UNILAG) requires two A’ Level passes from English, History, French, Geography, Mathematics, Yoruba/Igbo, CRK/IRS, Economics and Government. Also accepts University of Lagos (UNILAG) Foundation Diploma plus O’ Level requirements.

(vii) University of Calabar (UNICAL) accepts Diploma in Education and other related disciplines form a recognized institution with not less than five O’ level credit including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

What is WAEC, NECO or GCE Special Consideration (waiver) to study Educational Administration
(i) University of Lagos (UNILAG) requires credit in at least two of Literature in English, History/Government, Economics, Geography, Igbo/Yoruba, CRS/IRS or French. Does not accept Five TC II merit passes including English and Mathematics.

(ii) Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) and Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu (ESUT) do not insist on credit in Mathematics and Economics.

(iii) Ekiti State University requires five O level credits at one sittings. (iv) University of Calabar (UNICAL) does not insist on Economics.

What is JAMB UTME Special Consideration (waiver) to study Educational Administration
(i) University of Lagos (UNILAG) accepts any Three Of Literature in English, History/Government, French, Geography, Mathematics, Commerce, Yoruba/Igbo, CRK/IRS, Economics. Does not accept physics.

(ii) Ekiti State University requires any three Social Science subjects.

(iii) University of Calabar (UNICAL) accepts any three of Literature in English, History/ Government, Geography, Economics, CRS and Mathematics.
