The admission requirement to study Computer Education in Nigeria Universities includes one or a combination of ‘O’ level results or A-level result if you’re going through Direct Entry. WAEC subject combination (requirement) for Computer Education

You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just an advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. Of course, if you have a score below 180, you can consider College of Education or Polytechnic… Please note – JAMB is not the only option for admission. If you’re having troubles JAMB UTME maybe it’s time you pass through IJBM, JUBEB, ND or Predegree. JAMB UTME subject combination (subject to write in jamb) to study Computer Education are

Direct Entry requirement (required A-level result) to study Computer Education
i. Two A/L passes or equivalent in Physics and Mathematics.
ii. Diploma in Computer Science Education or any other Diploma in Computer Science Education from any recognised institution
iii. Distinction or Credit or Merit or Pass in NCE in Computer Education or Physics or Mathematics

What is Direct Entry Special Consideration (waiver) to study Computer Education
(i) University of Benin (UNIBEN) requires  (a)  Two A/L passes including Mathematics and one Science subject plus 3 O/L Credit passes including English Language at one sittings (b) 2/3 NCE merit passes including Computer Science  or Mathematics/Physics plus 3/2 ‘O’ level credit at one sittings. (c) Merit in Own Diploma/Other recognised Diploma (Credit/upper Credit) in Mathematics, Data Processing, Computer Engineering plus 3 O/L Credit passes including English Language at one sittings.

(ii) Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba accepts (a) Upper Credit Diploma in Computer Science, Statistics or Electronic/ Electrical Engineering from any recognized Institutions. (b) Passes in two ‘;A’ Level subjects which must include Mathematics; (c) NCE with at least credit Mathematics, Computer Science and any other Science or Social Science subject

(iii) Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni accepts NCE with credit in Mathematics and another Science subject.

What is WAEC, NECO, GCE Special Consideration (waiver) to study Computer Education
(i) University of Benin (UNIBEN) requires five O/L credit including English Language, Mathematics and two other Science or Social Science subjects.

(ii) Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba accepts a pass in Chemistry.

(iii) Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni requires five O’ level credit to include English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects from Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science.

(iv) University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) requires five O’ level credits in English Language, Mathematics or Physics, plus three Science or Social Science subjects.

What is JAMB UTME Special Consideration (waiver) to study Computer Education
(i) University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) requires Mathematics or Physics and two other Science subjects.

(ii) University of Benin (UNIBEN) requires Mathematics, Physics and any other Science or Social Science subjects.

(iii) Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni requires Mathematics and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Economics in order of preference.

(iv) Federal College of Education, Pankshin requires Mathematics, Physics, plus one of Chemistry, Biology, Economics or Geography
