Special Consideration (Waiver) for Agricultural Engineering
- Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu (ESUT) accepts a English language credit and all relevant subjects.
- University of Agriculture, Makurdi requires five credits passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any two of English Language, Biology or Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Geography and Economics. Also candidates with NABTEB Federal Craft Certificate or WAEC (Technical) Credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, may be admitted at 100 Level if they meet other admission requirements. All candidates must have obtained at least a pass in English Language.
- River State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) requires credit Biology or Agricultural Science as the fifth subject.
- University of Ibadan (UI) require 5 or 6 ‘O’ level credit at one or two sittings to include English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with any one/two of the following: Biology/ Agric Science, Further Mathematics, Technical. Drawing, Economics, Geography, Metal Work, and Wood Work.
- Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH), River State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) and Bauchi State University, Gadau accept Biology in lieu of Agricultural Science
- Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) accepts any other Science subjects as the fifth subject and not more than two sittings.
- University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) requires Five ‘O’ Level credits to include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one credit from among Biology, Geography, Agric. Sci, Further Mathematics or Technical Drawing at not more than two sittings.
- Federal University of Technology, Akure requires five SSCE credit English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have a minimum of credit in the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level), or West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or NECO or its equivalent at NOT more than two (2) sittings in five (5) subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics English Language and any other science subject.
- Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) requires five SSCE credit in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
- Bayero University, Kano (BUK) requires five O’ Level passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Niger Delta University Yenagoa (NDU) requires five ‘O’ level credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject in not more than two sittings.
- Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State – Same as in Mechanical Engineering. Accepts ND in Agricultural Engineering.
- University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) requires five O’ level credit to include, Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
